visit wales

I have only ever been to Wales twice in my life, which is a pretty poor show really for a UK resident. The first time was when I was married, in my early 20s and the whole family went to visit a distant cousin I think for a big birthday get-together. The only two things I remember about that weekend were that it rained and that my husband said I would never ever get him to sing karaoke. I couldn’t get him off the damn thing.

The second time I went to Wales was for my best friend’s hen weekend as she was marrying a Welshman. Suffice to say, we are both now single, but I’m pretty sure that it’s not Wales’ fault. Cardiff was ace from what I remember.

So when Visit Wales got in touch to see if I would like to host a giveaway of some Berghaus goodies, I was more than happy to do so.

(I also really need to go back to Wales sometime soon!)

The great thing about this giveaway is that it fits in with something that I am finding I am liking more and more the older I get. Walking. I mean, I’m not someone that is particularly new to walking, but you know what I mean 🙂  Since I have been using my Fitbit, which has been for about six months now, I am getting a lot more pleasure from walking, largely due to me competing against my other Fitbit friends. The competitiveness has really spurred me on to rack the miles up and I now find myself choosing to walk places instead of driving. Which is a good job seeing as I don’t actually have a car any more!

Anyway, I think this particular giveaway is suitable for people who are fans of camping (I’m more of a glamping person tbh) or just people that like to be outdoors. And definitely for people who want to visit Wales!

Let me show you what is included:
