I get asked to review quite a few things on my blog but I’m very picky about what I choose to write about. I just prefer to write about something that’s a little different … eye-catching. A company that maybe no-one has heard of before. That way, you know that if I choose to write about something, it’s because I genuinely feel passionate about it.
When A Shade Wilder got in touch, I checked out their website and although the monkey cushions weren’t really ‘me’ … (Dexter loved them mind you,) I had a look around and one thing immediately stood out, and so I knew I’d be happy sharing details of this company with you.
A Shade Wilder has a unique offering of art, décor, wallpaper and home styling accessories. They sell the most amazing flamingo wallpaper, 3D sculptures, vases, mirrors and a whole host of interior design pieces for the home. I want IT ALL.
Alas, I wasn’t allowed it all but I took a lot of time to choose a piece of artwork that I felt would be a perfect fit for my home … and this is it!
Isn’t it beautiful? Without getting too philosophical, I chose this piece because it just felt like it represented where I am at in my life right now – staring out to sea, not quite sure where I’m going, but the sun is peering through the clouds ready to shine on me. I had to have it.
It’s a BIG piece of artwork, but nestles neatly between the two wall uplighters and will go perfectly with the new (second hand) sofa I have just bought. The delivery was a bit of a pain mind you, but then that’s always the case with Parcelforce! But after a bit of to’ing and fro’ing, it finally arrived. It was packaged really well, surrounded in mega bubble wrap and was perfectly intact by the time it arrived.
Take a look around the site. If you’re looking for something that’s perhaps a little different for your home, you may well find it here.
I was given the artwork in exchange for this review.
