Kelly at Domestic Goddesque, kindly asked if I’d like to contribute a post to her blog.  I wrote about Remembrance … in particular about my beloved late Nan (or ‘Little Nan’ as we called her!)

I asked the question – are we who we are because of our experiences or because of the legacies our family have left us?

Check out the full post HERE.

Thanks Kelly for having me on board.

  1. What a beautiful tribute. I have a ‘little nan’ too and a ‘big nan’. Since I had Zachy, Big Nan has become Great Big Nan, which she claims to hate but still rolls around laughing about. She lost her husband, my grandfather, almost a year ago. He was a lovely man and I forget sometimes that he has gone. There are lots of things I remember about him but the things that really stick in my mind are his face when he met his great grandchild for the first time and the enormous ice cream portions he used to give me as a child!
