Right.  I should preface this Listography list by first saying that I’m WAY cooler now than I was when I was a teenager.  Which isn’t saying much, but when Kate at Kate Takes 5 asked who our famous teenage crushes were, it all came flooding back.

*Big dreamy sigh.*

And we’re off …..

1.

John Taylor from Duran Duran.  Oh my.  I loved his mullet, his square chin and the way he played his guitar.  The thoughts I had about those hands  …

2.

Oooh ‘allo Rob Lowe.  Haven’t checked you out for a few years.  Someone who I reckon has aged well but find him rather ‘meh’ nowadays.  But boy was he pretty back then.

3.

James Spader (always thought it was ‘Spader’ with 2 a’s.  Weird.)  Think it was the film ‘Sex, Lies & Videotape‘ that did it for me.  What can I say.  I’m that kinda girl.

4.

Robert Downey Junior.  A great example of a man who just gets better looking every year.   (If you ignore the whole police mugshot thing.)

5.

Keith Sweat.  Quite how I could go from listening to The Thomson Twins and Duran Duran to Loose Ends, Keith Sweat and A Tribe Called Quest, I’m not sure.  An eclectic taste in music shall we say!

Head over to Kate’s Linky for more embarrassing admissions.  I can only pray to God that mine aren’t the worst.

*  Special mentions have to go to the following … sorry that you didn’t make the list guys.  Dem’s da breaks. Better luck next time.

Jason Patric (Lost Boys), Matt Dillon, Marti Pellow and Morten Harket (A-Ha.)

  1. I’d forgotten about A-Ha.The sun always shines on t.v. It was the first record single I bought.I seem to be the only one who fancied Simon and not John.
