Review: Ask Her Friends
In case you hadn’t noticed, Christmas is coming. I know, sorry, but unfortunately, it can’t be avoided.
I’m one of those people who doesn’t admit Christmas is happening until at least mid-December, the tree may (or may not) be put up a week before Christmas and I tend to wrestle with what to buy people for months. And then buy something rubbish. Which they always take back.
Suffice to say, I’m not very good at ‘doing’ Christmas.
Therefore, any help is always welcome and considering I can’t drop subtle hints about what presents I want my boyfriend to buy me this year, namely because I don’t have one, I thought I’d share details of a great website I’ve found with you lot.
Ask Her Friends is a website that is dedicated to finding the perfect gift for the special women in your life. Genius idea if you ask me. So if you’re stuck for what to buy your wife, girlfriend, sister, mum or friends, this website is just what you need.
Now I had a look around and pretended that there were hundreds, (nay thousands,) of people just queuing up to buy me something special for Christmas, and found these little gems:
There is a good selection of clothing, shoes, jewellery, flowers, perfume, books, spa days, beautiful things for the home and, of course, posh chocolate available and what I like is that there are a lot of items that are really unique that I probably wouldn’t come across in the charity shop I normally shop in!
The great thing about the site, however, is that it actually helps you choose the perfect gift. Just explain who you’re shopping for, what your budget is and, if you can, what her style is, and it will generate suggestions for you. Ideal for people like me that are clueless. And if you get really stuck, there’s even a Live Chat option, so someone is always on hand to help out.
The prices range from below £10 to over £250 so there’s something to suit every budget and taste.
So, check the site out, even if you just fancy treating yourself. But be warned, it’s pretty addictive!
