Christmas on a Budget
I mentioned on Twitter last week that this year it would have to be Christmas on a budget and I had actually bought a lot of Dexter’s Christmas presents from our local charity shop – a few clothes I know he’ll like and some board games. I don’t have time to stop and feel bad about it. It is what it is.
I know I’m not alone and in fact, I was surprised that a few other people Tweeted that they too had done the same thing.
Life is tough, right?
If, like me, you like to shop around, you might already know about voucher code websites. Quite how this concept passed me by, I don’t know, but I have now been enlightened. The principle is simple. You can get discounts at Netvouchercodes.co.uk from companies such as M&S, B&Q, New Look, easyJet etc. All you do, is get the code and get money off.
This particular site is really laid out well and with Christmas approaching, it might be worth checking out.
Personally, I’d quite like money off a trip to the Maldives for Christmas … but I’ll settle for a tin of Celebrations and the Christmas episode of Dr Who.
